Rigo Superfici

Contemporary materials, technical design, and specialized installation for bespoke surfaces

Rigo Superfici, a brand of Rigo Marmi, was created to expand Rigo Marmi’s offering and bring a complete selection of contemporary materials into the company.
The goal is to provide designers with a range of solutions that can integrate into any architectural context, through a structured method that combines selection, technical consultancy, custom fabrication, and specialized installation.

Sourcing and material selection at Rigo Superfici

Choosing the best suppliers is the foundation of Rigo Superfici's work, which is built on collaborations with carefully selected and internationally recognized brands.

Our selection includes high-end materials, such as:

  • Prefinished and traditional parquet
  • Resins, micro-resins, and coordinated paints
  • Micro-cement finishes
  • Porcelain stoneware in large slabs and traditional formats
  • Contemporary terrazzo and cement-based surfaces
  • Decorative wallpaper and technical wallcoverings
  • Ceramic tiles from the finest Italian producers
  • Shower trays and enclosures
  • Bathroom furniture

The expertise of the Rigo Superfici team supports architects and interior designers in choosing the most suitable solution, balancing cost, performance, and aesthetic outcome.

Design, engineering, and technical development

Rigo Superfici’s added value shines in the technical design phase, where every material is studied in relation to the project and the context in which it will be installed.

The sales office, working in close synergy with the Rigo Superfici technical office, supports architects and designers with a complete offering including:

  • resin and micro-cement surfaces
  • analysis of the surfaces to be clad
  • study of the most suitable materials by function and performance
  • technical development of construction details
  • layout schemes and cut planning
  • preparation of working drawings and technical documentation

Our approach allows us to ensure seamless integration between different surfaces (for example, marble with resin, parquet with resin, ceramic/stoneware with micro-cement), delivering aesthetic and functional continuity in every space.

Careful design is especially important for:

  • large porcelain stoneware slabs
  • continuous resin surfaces
  • parquet with complex patterns
  • combined installation of different materials

Every decision is shared with the designer, so the initial idea can be turned into a result that is feasible, durable, and coherent.

Fabrication at the Rigo Superfici workshop in Milan

Rigo Superfici transforms materials at its specialized workshop for large porcelain stoneware slabs, integrated into the Milan headquarters.

This working space makes it possible to carry out bespoke work such as:

  • precision cuts
  • milling
  • technical holes
  • dimensional adjustments
  • preparation of slabs for complex cladding
  • special fabrication for kitchens, bathrooms, and custom furniture

Having the workshop directly in Milan allows the technical team and architects to closely follow the transformation of the material, checking every step and detail in real time.
The workshop operates with machinery dedicated to large-format ceramic surfaces, optimized to ensure cutting precision and safe handling — essential factors when working with large slabs.

Installation: a decisive phase

Installation is a decisive phase for guaranteeing the performance, durability, and aesthetic quality of the surfaces. For this reason, Rigo Superfici relies on experienced applicators and installers who are deeply familiar with a wide range of materials and know how to execute work to the highest standard, with precise attention to every detail — from alignment to surface treatment and final finishes.

The installation process is overseen with constant attention by one of our specialized technicians, who also acts as a bridge between the architect (or the client) and the applicators or installers, ensuring consistency with the technical design and accurate execution even in the most complex environments. Having the in-house workshop at the Milan headquarters is a further advantage: should any adjustment or modification become necessary during installation, it can be handled quickly, reducing lead times, avoiding unexpected issues, and ensuring continuity between design and execution.

Protective surface treatments

To ensure long-lasting durability and quality, certain selected materials are treated with specific protective products.

Available treatments include:

  • water-repellent protections for porous surfaces
  • protective finishes for resins (for scratch and absorption resistance)
  • natural oils and coatings for parquet, chosen according to intended use
  • stain-resistant treatments for stoneware and technical surfaces

The treatment is chosen together with the sales team, considering use, expected foot traffic, aesthetic context, and maintenance requirements.

After-sales support

Our support does not end with installation. Rigo Superfici continues to work alongside the client over time, providing:

  • guidance for the correct maintenance of materials
  • recommendations on cleaning and care products
  • technical support for any subsequent changes or needs
  • targeted interventions in case of wear or requested modifications
  • renewal treatments, where needed, for parquet, resins, and technical surfaces

This service keeps the aesthetics and performance of the chosen materials intact over time, ensuring continuity between design, execution, and long-term use.
