Working with marble is an art that demands great technical skill, but also immense passion. A passion that has driven Rigo Marmi since 1948, when Giovanni Rigo, together with his sons, founded a small artisan company. Today, after nearly 80 years in business, that family-run workshop has become a benchmark in the industry, with several production and commercial sites across Italy and abroad. The company is now led by Giorgio Passoni, son of Franca Rigo and representative of the third generation, who carries forward the family legacy with a sense of responsibility and a clear drive toward the future.
Rigo Marmi was born from a deep devotion to the noblest of materials: marble.
Ours is a story of bold, deliberate choices, built on professionalism and experience, block by block, starting from the careful and essential selection of raw materials.
Rigo Marmi’s growth is rooted in a concrete, rigorous approach: we oversee every phase of the work, from consultancy to production to installation, with meticulous attention to detail and painstaking customization. Over the years, this approach has established us as a trusted partner for architects, designers, and construction firms, providing tailored solutions designed to blend elegance and functionality into any setting.
While our presence now extends well beyond the city, Milan remains our center. Our historic headquarters at Via Giovenale 3, set in a neighborhood shaped by artisan identity and Milanese architecture, still houses the only stone workshop operating in the heart of the city.
This is where we work our fine materials, offering a complete service that combines craftsmanship, technology, and design sensibility. Being located in central Milan allows us to maintain a direct, ongoing dialogue with the design world, bridging our technical expertise and the demands of contemporary practice.

VERONA — Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella
In the heart of Valpolicella, our production workshop is where stone takes shape.
In Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, just outside Verona, lies the operational core of Rigo Marmi: a production and logistics hub where slabs are processed with state-of-the-art technology and stored before being shipped to construction sites across Italy. Cutting, shaping, finishing, and warehousing — every stage of marble’s transformation happens here, with the artisanal precision that has set us apart since 1948.
CARRARA — The source of the material
From Carrara we personally select the finest slabs, because quality begins long before fabrication.
Our presence in Carrara is no accident: it is a strategic choice rooted in our values. In what is universally recognized as the marble capital of the world, our experts select the finest slabs directly at the quarry — for veining, density, and beauty — guaranteeing our clients authentic, traceable materials of the highest caliber. A local foothold that means supply chain control and respect for the material.
In 2014, with the goal of offering an ever more comprehensive service and meeting the needs of a rapidly evolving industry, we launched Rigo Superfici, a division of the company created to expand the opportunities we offer to designers and interior designers.
An exhibition space entirely dedicated to the world of surfaces, where architects and professionals can engage, explore a range of solutions, and find tangible inspiration for their projects.
Inside our Milan showroom, we present a carefully curated selection of leading Italian and international brands, chosen for quality, aesthetics, and versatility.
Rigo Superfici is a living space, designed to spark creativity and support professionals in choosing the right materials for every project. It is a natural extension of our approach: concrete, technical, artisanal, yet always open to exchange and dialogue with contemporary design.
Our gaze is set on the future, but our roots remain firmly planted in the values that have guided us from the start: technical expertise, attention to detail, passion for craftsmanship, and reliability.
In recent years, we have invested in the company’s growth by bringing in new professionals with design-oriented and cross-disciplinary skills, able to support clients even in the most creative and strategic phases of a project.
Among our goals is to remain a point of reference, strengthening what makes us unique while opening ourselves with genuine interest to new generations, to experimentation, and to a culture of shared design.
Staying in Milan, in our workshop, is not nostalgia — it is consistency.
It is from here that we want to keep building our future, combining tradition and innovation, day after day.
