Texture, light, and materiality in design balance
In Milan’s historic center, the studio Giussaniarch with Antonella Quaglia signs an interior project where every surface tells a clear vision built on proportion, light, and material depth. In this residential project, Rigo Marmi and Rigo Superfici handled the parquet installation and the complete bathroom fit-out, contributing decisively to the perceptual and architectural quality of the spaces.
Parquet: natural rhythm and visual depth
For the flooring, the choice was LEGNO+COLOR MEDIUM from the Kerakoll Color Collection, installed by Rigo Superfici in a “sisters” pattern, creating an elegant, dynamic alternation.
The KK63 micro-resin finish provides uniformity and a controlled matte brilliance, enhancing the color and grain of the oak. A parquet that becomes a quiet yet present material backdrop, perfectly in tune with the elegant, welcoming atmosphere of the entire apartment.
A bathroom between contrast and coherence
For the bathroom, Florim porcelain stoneware slabs in 60×120 cm were used in two finishes chosen to create an orderly graphic contrast:
- Marquina, deep intense black
- Breach, white crossed by bold veining
The cladding rises to the ceiling, the flooring extends into the shower tray, and the grid-pattern installation ensures a rigorous balance between vertical and horizontal elements. A project where compositional clarity meets the strength of the material’s design — a confirmation of Rigo Marmi and Rigo Superfici’s attention to every technical and aesthetic detail.
